Use the company’s current legal or established public-facing name, official website, primary phone number, service location or clearly described service area, and an email address your team monitors.

Do not create a second listing for a department, campaign, tracking number, or nearby city unless it represents a genuine operating location. Accurate identity data helps homeowners reach the correct company and helps prevent duplicate profiles.

Select only services the company currently provides and can support publicly. If your team handles residential work but not large commercial systems—or repairs heat pumps but does not install them—clear boundaries are more valuable than a long undifferentiated list.

Service areas should be realistic. Statewide or multi-state coverage should not be claimed when the company normally works within a limited radius. Homeowners need to know whether a call is likely to lead somewhere.

Licensing, insurance, certifications, factory-authorized status, financing, maintenance agreements, free estimates, warranties, and emergency availability may influence a homeowner’s decision. Submit these details only when they are current and can be documented.

Review the profile when your company changes its phone number, website, address, ownership, service area, hours, emergency policy, credentials, or primary services. A polished profile that points to outdated contact information does not help anyone.

Corrections are reviewed before publication because the directory must remain dependable for homeowners and fair to the businesses represented. When possible, include the official page or document that supports the requested change.
