HVACentric is operated by eBiz Media Pro LLC. This policy applies to HVACentric.com, its directory, contact and submission forms, listing-claim process, contractor onboarding, reviews, and Premium membership features. It does not govern a contractor’s website, Stripe’s checkout pages, or another third-party service linked from HVACentric.

Depending on how you use HVACentric, you may provide:

• Your name, email address, telephone number, role, and message when contacting us.
• Business details, service information, addresses, website links, photos, logos, and supporting material submitted for a listing.
• Claim and verification information used to confirm that you are authorized to represent a business.
• Review content and moderation details. Reviewer email addresses are used for administration and are not intended for public display.
• Premium onboarding information, including company history, specialties, service areas, brands, financing, warranties, maintenance programs, and company-owned media.

When you visit the site, our hosting and security providers may automatically process technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device information, requested pages, timestamps, and diagnostic or security logs. This information helps deliver the site, prevent abuse, troubleshoot failures, and maintain security.

HVACentric may use cookies or similar browser storage that are necessary for security, session continuity, administrative access, or core site operation. We do not currently use personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Contractor profiles may include business information gathered from public websites, licensing resources, business directories, company-controlled pages, and other publicly available sources. We may combine that information with corrections or details supplied by an authorized company representative.

Public business information is maintained to help users evaluate companies. A business may request a correction through the claim process or by contacting us, but claiming a listing does not create a right to remove accurate, lawfully obtained public information.

We use information to:

• Operate, maintain, secure, and improve HVACentric.
• Create, research, update, and moderate contractor profiles.
• Process listing submissions, claims, verification codes, reviews, and contact requests.
• Administer Premium memberships, onboarding, editorial review, publication status, renewals, cancellations, and support.
• Detect spam, fraud, impersonation, misuse, and other activity that could harm visitors, contractors, or the platform.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use.

Stripe processes Premium membership payments on its hosted checkout page. Stripe may collect payment-method details, billing information, transaction information, device data, and fraud-prevention signals under its own Privacy Policy.

HVACentric receives and retains limited transaction information needed to manage the membership, such as the purchaser’s name and email, the associated contractor listing, Stripe customer and subscription references, payment status, subscription status, and relevant event history. HVACentric does not receive or store complete card numbers.

We may share information with service providers that help us host, secure, communicate, process payments, or operate the site. These providers may use the information only as permitted by their agreements and applicable law.

We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to lawful process, protect rights or safety, investigate fraud or misuse, or complete a merger, financing, acquisition, or transfer of business assets subject to appropriate protections.

HVACentric does not currently sell personal information for money or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Information submitted specifically for publication—such as approved business descriptions, photos, and service details—may be displayed publicly.

We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here, including operating the directory, maintaining decision and verification records, servicing memberships, resolving disputes, preventing abuse, and meeting legal, accounting, or security obligations.

Retention periods vary by record. Public contractor information may remain in the directory even after a particular submission record is removed when the underlying business information remains accurate and relevant.

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information. Payment credentials are handled by Stripe rather than stored by HVACentric. No website, transmission method, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure, so please avoid submitting sensitive personal information that we have not specifically requested.

Depending on where you live and subject to applicable exceptions, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of personal information associated with you. You may also ask questions about how your information is used or appeal a decision concerning a privacy request.

Send requests to connect@hvacentric.com. Include enough information for us to identify the relevant submission or listing. We may need to verify your identity or authority before acting, and an authorized agent may be required to provide proof of authority. We will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.

HVACentric is intended for adults researching HVAC services and for authorized business representatives. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, contact us so we can review and remove it as appropriate.

HVACentric links to contractor websites, manufacturers, payment services, and other external resources. We do not control their privacy or security practices. Review the policy of any third-party site before providing information there.

We may update this policy as HVACentric’s services, technology, or legal obligations change. The updated date at the top will show when revisions were made. Material changes may also be highlighted on the site when appropriate.
